my feet (and the rest of me) are excited!!!

i love plans. 

...because its exciting

to talk to friends or family and come up with 

fun adventures to have together.

...because i LOOOVE have something

fun to look forward to 

for me...its part of the fun. 

this week i have some FUN plans

~meeting up for dinner with my 2 uni roomies
(girls night!)

~out for st pattys day
(with cottage friends - fun!)

~matts celebration dinner 
(6 months into his job)

~fooseball tournament
(fun with some of matts friends)

~seeing my lovely friend sarah who lives in bc
(only get to see her once a year :( its sad)

~an extra long weekend!
(i have friday and monday off)

so exciting. 
and it all starts tomorrow!!!!!

running outside and SUNSHINE :) 

I am hopeful that the weather in Toronto 

is going to take a turn to the + side this week.

The forecast shows most days 

this week will be between zero and +10 degrees Celsius

To me...that is amazing and exciting. 

My gym membership runs out today...

so the timing couldn't be more perfect to start running outside!

its very gloomy in toronto (and most of ontario). 

the snow is melting, but we are getting tons of rain. 

the grey skies and cold temperatures are affecting everyone's mood. 

in lieu of this my pinboard of the week are places and spaces

wonderful places that will bring some happiness to my life 

(and hopefully yours!)

i would love to go to mexico, greece or paris. 

dipping my toes in water, walking along sand with my barefeet

feeling the sand in my toes, splashing the water around 

and taking in the warm sunlight and amazing colours.

or wandering streets and cafes in paris, speaking a few french words

that i can vaguely remember and indulging in croissants and wine.

*sigh*

it all sounds so lovely. 

instead i will walk to my local pizza joint in the cold rain 

for a slice of comfort that comes in lots of carbs and cheese.

total deliciousness.

ottawa weekend...

i was hoping that i would have a 

fun photo weekend adventure post

from my trip to ottawa.

unfortunately some unruly weather, a lost camera and

things not going as planned...

ended up in just a few pictures to share.

overall, we had a great weekend. 

we were able to see a friend from university and her man, 

some of our cottage friends and matts family (aunt/uncle x2, grandpa).

we took in a {pretty horrible but fun nonetheless} sens game.

i truly love the city of ottawa and was disappointed that 

we couldn't go skating on the canal and wander around the market.

instead we had some great conversations

and even did a little shopping.

after being away all weekend

i am looking forward to a quiet week with a lot of time to read.
